Thief Checks Out Leger From Carlyle's Helly Nahmad Gallery

Thief Steals Léger From Helly Nahmad Gallery: Someone crept into the Carlyle hotel between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. yesterday and stole Léger's 1917 "Composition aux Element Mecaniques" from the gallery, which is based on the hotel's first floor. No arrests have been made, but surveillance footage shows a man walking into the Carlyle and then out sometime later with a bag under his arm before driving off in a car.
